Hello, fellow furballs! Oliver here, ready to share my thoughts on Dog Man Unleashed by Dav Pilkey recommended to me by my friend, Seth. Now, I’ll admit, as a refined feline, I usually prefer the subtle elegance of a good yarn about cats. But I decided to give this book a chance, and wow, was it a pawsitive surprise!
The book stars Dog Man, a four-legged hero who is all bark and a whole lot of bite! His antics had me purring with laughter. Dog Man is a character with heart and a sense of justice that’s very admirable, even if he isn’t quite as refined as us cats.
Petey the Cat on the other paw is a real hoot! He’s got a bit of a rebellious streak, which I can respect. Who hasn’t dreamed of causing a little mischief? I liked his interactions with Dog Man that put them in some purr-plexing scenarios that kept me on the edge of my cat tree.
Overall, Dog Man Unleashed is a tail-waggin’ good time! Even as a cat, I found myself rooting for our canine hero. So, if you’re looking for a book that’s sure to tickle your whiskers, this one’s a must-read. So make sure to check it out in the graphic novel section of our children’s department!
